The project regularly organises international conferences on the death penalty as well as regional training workshops for lawyers and human rights workers. Click here for access to the papers from the Death Penalty Conference held in Barbados in June 2005. Future training by the project will empower local lawyers with the skills and expertise to enable them to represent prisoners facing the death penalty before domestic tribunals and also in the increasingly important fora of international tribunals and individuals' complaint mechanisms in international law.
