The Death Penalty Project Limited is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee registered in England under company number 5579286. Its registered office is at 50 Broadwick Street, London W1V 1FF. Executive Directors The project is run by Executive Directors, Saul Lehrfreund and Parvais Jabbar. They are experts in representing prisoners under sentence of death and are specialists in the fields of domestic and international human rights law. The Executive Directors are responsible for the day to day management of the project, advising the Board on policy and strategy and reporting to the Board on implementation. The Board is responsible for the governance of the project, setting overall strategy and policy in consultation with the Executive Directors and Advisory Panel and reviewing implementation. The Death Penalty Project Charitable Trust The project is supported by a sister charity, the Death Penalty Project Charitable Trust (charity registration number awaited). The Advisory Panel and Simons Muirhead and Burton The project's Advisory Panel is comprised of leading experts in the fields of domestic and international human rights law. Simons Muirhead & Burton are founders and long term supporters of the project. They are Privy Council agents and provide pro bono representation for the project's cases before the Privy Council. They also house the Death Penalty Project and provide administrative support at no cost to the project. Their long-standing commitment to the project has been essential to its success. |
