Yale University Fellowships
Yale Law School, Yale University
Each year, in partnership with Doughty Street Chambers, the Death Penalty Project accepts two summer fellows for a 6-8 week period from Yale University. The Fellows divide their time between Doughty Street Chambers and the Death Penalty Project.
The fellowship offers students a variety of learning experiences over the course of the summer, including valuable exposure to the work of a pioneering legal NGO, as well as a leading set of barrister chambers. Fellows are able to develop their research and analytical skills by conducting extensive research, and receiving feedback from experts and barristers specialising in human rights and the death penalty. Fellows will complement their research by attending court hearings at the Privy Council, thereby gaining first-hand experience in litigation.
