Public Opinion Survey on the Mandatory Death Penalty in Malaysia: Executive Directors in Malaysia to Seek Support

The Executive Directors and Professor Roger Hood travelled to Malaysia and met with the EU delegation, the Bar Council of Malaysia, National Human Rights Commission (SUHAKAM) and NGOs including HAKAM.
They also met with members of the law faculty from the International Islamic University of Malaysia and the University of Malaya to seek their support in carrying out a public opinion survey on the mandatory death penalty in Malaysia. The survey will be published in 2013.
